Western Medicine and Buddhism have different views to Death and the various stages of dying. How these views complement or differ will be presented by Dr. Michael Kleiser. The panel consists of  Dr. Michael Kleiser, Christel Conrad, Maike and Pit Weigelt.

In Diamondway Buddhism "Love & Partnership" are  considered the basis for development and growth. Overcoming personal limitations and to enrich the lives of others are important goals of Lama Ole Nydahl, the author of “Der Buddha und die Liebe”. It displays how Buddhist wisdom can make love possible.


Death and Rebirth

Death is not considered final in Buddhism. Buddha Shakyamuni has compared the transition from one life to the next to the changing of clothes. Lama Ole Nydahl has taught over 100000 western students the Diamondway practise of "Phowa" – Consious Dying. During the evening Lama Ole will share his knowledge of perishing, "Bardo" the interim stages and the rebirth.
